The Story

Bishop Charles and Pastor Patti Mellette and the Christian Provision Ministries Family will be hosting their Annual Positive Direction for Youth (PDY) Conference.  This is one of the leading youth conferences in the area that takes the unique approach of addressing the needs of today’s youth and their families.  We understand that knowledge and vision is the difference between success and failure and, therefore, designed this conference to educate and empower teens to make decisions that create positive results.

Over the past twelve years, the PDY Conference has had a tremendous impact on the lives of thousands of young people, their parents and youth leaders.  The conference utilizes technology and drama enhanced presentations to create a faith-driven, electrifying experience.

With a combination of thought-provoking workshops, nationally acclaimed entertainment and interactive activities for children, the three-day, high energy event is focused on developing youth assets in the community.  Parents, youth directors, pastors and community leaders are inclusive of this refreshing time of fellowship.  Former PDY workshop presenters, world renowned motivational speaker and author Dr. Les Brown and Attorney Willie Gary have endorsed the conference as a positive force in changing the lives of young people and their families.
